AIT Officer Visits NSLI-Y Students at Tamkang University Before Their Return to U.S.

🔹On April 21, AIT Cultural Affairs Officer Anne Foss visited NSLI-Y students at Tamkang University. The students, who arrived last September, will return to the U.S. in early May after an immersive Mandarin and cultural exchange, supported by American Councils, Tamkang University, and local host families.

U.S. and Taiwan Boost Commercial Ties at E-Mobility 2035 Event.

🔹AIT Acting Deputy Director Erich Kuss, MOEA Deputy Minister Cynthia Kiang, and TAITRA Chairman James Huang launched the E-Mobility 2035 Taiwan event. The exhibition showcased innovations in transportation and strengthened U.S.-Taiwan commercial ties. Representatives from several U.S. states highlighted business opportunities at the U.S. Pavilion. AIT’s Commercial Section is recruiting a Taiwan business delegation to visit U.S. technology hubs in May, culminating at the 2025 SelectUSA Investment Summit in Washington, DC, from May 11 to 14.
