AIT Impact & Updates
AIT Hosts English Teaching Workshop for Local Educators
🔹The International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), a flagship U.S. Department of State exchange, celebrates its 85th anniversary with a series of alumni videos. Marcia Chiu, Director of the New Taipei City Youth Department, highlights how IVLP deepened her understanding of youth engagement and civic education in the U.S., and inspired new approaches for youth policy in Taiwan. Watch her video to learn how IVLP broadened her global perspective and sparked ideas for advancing youth initiatives.
🔹AIT welcomed English teachers from Yongchun and Neihu Senior High Schools to a workshop led by Fulbright EMI Advisor Mary Goodrich. The session focused on formative assessment and active engagement, offering practical strategies through interactive activities. AIT thanks these educators for their commitment to advancing English education in Taiwan.
