Employee Consultation Services (ECS)

ECS provides free and confidential support services to assist Department of State civil service and foreign service employees, U.S. direct hire employees from other federal executive agencies under Chief of Mission authority if their respective employee assistance programs are unavailable, and EFM spouses when posted overseas who may be experiencing professional or personal life challenges. Services are offered domestically and abroad via in-person, video or telephone appointments.
Med Wellness Wave Portal
MED Wellness Wave provides a personal portal with access to online/on-demand content on a wide range of health and wellness resources such as fitness classes, recipes, holistic webinars, etc. Please see the attached flyer on how to register.
In-Person Counseling Services
The Community Services Center, located in Tianmu neighborhood, offers in-person counseling for kids, couples, and families. They offer a certain number of free counseling sessions to your family if your child is enrolled at TAS. They also have several social programs and events for the expatriate community in Taipei. Virtual therapy options
DOS Bureau of Medical Services keeps a database of private therapy options that are recommended by the Regional Medical Officer Psychiatrists across the world. Please see the attached document.

The Community Services Center (The Center) offers professional Counseling Services, Information and Referral Assistance, and Cultural and Social Activities to support the expatriate community. They also provide Educational Programs and Volunteer Opportunities to help expatriates integrate and contribute to the local community.
